"Creole" was my very first Catahoula. I got her as a puppy, and originally just as a walking companion, truck dog, and potential show prospect. That didn't last all too long. From a pretty young age she had quite a bit of prey drive and soon she was spending less and less time at the truck and more and more time running with the hounds. She prefers a red hot track, but does use her nose and is dead silent like most cur dogs. She trees well if she can see or hear the game in the tree, and actually does prefer to be standing up on the tree where all the action is while treeing.

"Musket" was the second Catahoula to join the pack. I got him from a now good friend of mine. He was a little bit older, at around 1.5 years old. I don't know what made me decide to get this dog, but when I seen him, I had to have him. It's the best decision I've made in a very long time. Up until I got my hands on him he had been strictly a pet, with no hunting experience whatsoever. Literally the day after I got him he was in a tracking collar, and within days he had already seen his first game. He has never missed a single tree the hounds have made. He will start and run a track just like a hound. He has a great nose, can trail, and even opens on track. He trees very well and pretty consistently for a cur dog. He is also a great bay dog. He has decent speed, tough, and as much drive and heart as any hound I've ever snapped a lead to. He also has the best male dog demeanor. There isn't an aggressive bone in his body. He too has done fairly well in the show ring. Has earned his Lure Coursing Aptitude title. He is also had some of his health clearances done so far.

"Panda" is our keeper from our first Catahoula litter. She is one sharp pup. Mentally and physically everything we were looking for, and hopefully with time her hunting ability proves as expected.
